Ralph Michielli

With over 40 years’ experience and counting, Ralph has accomplished milestones of expertise and ownership in corporate aviation. Ralph currently serves as the President of Custom Jet Charters LLC headquartered in Palm Beach, Florida, as of 2017. He is responsible for overseeing all departments, including vendor operations and contracts, financial and accounting operations and is the point of contact for all aircraft owners.

Ralph has received numerous awards and training through PAMA, NBAA and Airsure Safety Action Program. He has also managed several teams through the Argus, Wyvern, and ISBAO, approval process including development of ERP, SMS, and CASS programs.

Ralph has been selected to serve as a member of several corporate aircraft advisory boards including Embraer, Bombardier, and Gulfstream. He has assisted in that role with new aircraft development, product support initiatives, and other wide-ranging topics.

He holds an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license as well as being certified in Level II Radiographic and Ultrasonic inspections.

Ralph began his career at 19, as a structure mechanic for AiResearch, in Los Angeles CA. From there he served as a fuel system specialist for Seaboard Tank Sealing Corp., he was then recruited as a technician and chief inspector by Structural Testing Systems Inc., in NY. Ralph ended up purchasing and became the President of both Structural Testing and Seaboard Tank System Inc. He retained the position of President for 9 years, until he sold both companies when he joined Eastway Aircraft/ Excelaire LLC, as Vice President and Director of Maintenance. During his 20-year tenure with the company, Ralph became part owner of ExcelAire in 2004 and became Chief Operating Officer in 2015.

He also has worked with several legal firms as an expert witness in various cases since January 2018.

On his down time, Ralph enjoys golfing and traveling, as well as spending time with his two children and grandchildren.
